Student State Conference Instructions

Thursday PM, February 15

  1. Students in Principles of Business Administration Preliminary Events will report to the Holding Area in the North Atrium at the time on their schedule card. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: PBM) where students are to report.

  1. Students in Individual Series & PFL Preliminary Events will report to the Holding Area in the South/East Atrium at the time on their schedule card. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: AAM) where students are to report.

 Refer to South/East Atrium Monday Layout.

  1. Quiz Bowl teams will report to the Franciscan Ballroom as scheduled. An Advisor will move teams to the competition area.  The winning team in each round will return to the Franciscan Ballroom to wait for the next round of competition.
  2. Students in Public Speaking will report to the room listed on their schedule card for preliminaries on Thursday (Weavers or Turquoise).
    • They will wait outside the room until asked to enter for judging.

Friday AM, February 16

  1. Students in TDM Preliminary Events will report to the Holding Area in the South/East Atrium at the time on their schedule card. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: BLTDM) where students are to report.

2. Students in Written Events scheduled for Tuesday AM will report to the North Atrium check-in tables at the time on their schedule card. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: ESB) where students are to report.

3. Students in Public Speaking Finals will report to Potters Room at times listed. They will wait outside the room until asked to enter for judging.

Friday PM, February 16

1. Students in Principles of Business Administration, Individual Series, PFL, and TDM Final Events, will report to the Holding Areas in the South/East Atrium at the times scheduled. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: PBM) where students are to report.

2. Students in Written Events scheduled for Tuesday PM will report to the North Atrium check-in tables at the time on their schedule card. Signs will be posted with event acronym (example: BOR) where students are to report.
