The automatic positions are guaranteed positions for your students to advance from district to the state conference.  Students are required to compete at the District level.  You do not need to submit names at this time I just need you to select the contests.  After district contests advisors will then select the students for these positions in any way that you choose.

After online testing is done in mid December we will notify you of the District 1 Individual Series Events, Principles of Business Administration and Team Decision Making Events that qualified for state.  You will register these students on the online registration system for state when you register all of your other students. District 2 will be notified of results at your district conference in January.

Chapter size (1-150) – 3 automatic positions (3 students TOTAL)

One (1) Team Decision Making Event or two (2) students and

One (1) student in one of the Individual Series Events or Principles of Business Administration Events OR 3 students in any three of the Individual Series events or Principles of Business Administration Event

Chapter size (151-higher) – 6 automatic positions (any combination of Team Decision Making, Individual Series Events or Principles of Business Administration that equals 6 students TOTAL)
