NEW MEXICO BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA
Business Professionals of America is the nation’s leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, accounting, office administration, and other business-related career fields.
New Mexico BPA has been a chartered association since 1967. This is over 55 years of leadership history! BPA supports business and information technology educators by offering intra-curricular exercises that are aligned with nationally recognized industry standards.
The Workplace Skills Assessment Program (WSAP) is an integral part of Business Professionals of America. The goal of the program is to provide all business students with the opportunity to demonstrate workplace skills learned through business education curricula. Students prepare for and compete in contests in over 90 categories, under five assessment areas including:
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Management Information Systems
- Digital Communication & Design
- Management, Marketing, & Communication
- Health Administration
